For this individual journalism project, I was tasked with profiling a young entrepreneur running a side hustle. After facing setbacks, including being ghosted and rejected by several potential interviewees, I secured an interview with a home-based business owner. I handled the project end-to-end, from filming and photography to writing the article, conducting the interview, transcribing, and creating the accompanying Instagram carousel.

After graduating from Nitec in Video Production, I passed my driving test and bought my first car — a Lexus LS460. With some free time on my hands, I took my first step into automotive journalism, writing an article, filming a review video, and photographing the car. Automotive journalism has been a dream of mine for a long time, inspired by creators like Jackie Prabhu from Clutched, whose videos I grew up watching. To bring my first review to life, I roped in a couple of friends, one to help with filming, another to drive the camera car, and handled everything else myself, from writing and producing to renting and returning the camera equipment.
